The new normal

So with all that is going on in the world right now, we have been dealing with the new normal. The kids are out of school since spring break started. They do not go back until May 1st. They have been doing online learning and man it has been a challenge. Three kids, three different grades and work. The boys have been staying at my mom & dad's since spring break started. Katie and I would come over every day for school work.

This post is going to have a bunch in it. I have so much to talk about. Since we have been in this stay at home order we have been having fun. Kids have been in the pool every day for hours.

We have three kids. A 10 year old boy in 5th grade, a 11 year old boy in 6th grade & a 13 year old girl in 8th grade. Here are my 10 year old and my 11 year old for the last night.

Here are my now 11 year old boys. For the next 2 months  I have two 11 year old's.

We did not have a party for him or did he get to spend the day at school with his class mates. We did lunch with my parents and then Mike came over after he got done with work for some cake with Christian.

I have been spending time with Moose (Buddy), Christian & Kaitlynn doing many things. I was able to get pictures of Moose (Buddy) & Christian. Moose has this love affair with Julie our dog. They are both the same age and have taken a liking to each other. I was able to get one of them spending time together.

For Christian & Kaitlynn we have been watching the Masked Singer. Christian found the show and loves it. We have watched 2 seasons so far and we love the show. Here is my one stolen moment

During the first day of online learning, Christian had to do a science lesson and was learning about what animals eat & and the types of animals. While he was reading my dad came in from the back yard and had us come out and see a bird on the tree branch eating a fish. It was the perfect timing for this.

One weekend we had the boys home with us to help with yard work. Moose and hubby worked outside while Christian, Kaitlynn & I worked inside the house. While the kids finished working inside the house they went outside to help with the yard work, I was moving a ottoman and dropped it on my foot. If this is the only bad thing to happen during this time for my family I am glad that it is just a banged up foot.

I have so much to put in a blog but not this post. I am going to try and post daily on what is going on in our family during this new normal. I will make another post later today or tomorrow with everything that has happened so far this school year. I have many pictures to add to them.
